Croquet and Bowling Clubs

The Croquet Club play on a purpose built Croquet Green every Wednesday and Saturday.

In summer play commences at 9.00 am to beat the heat. Two or three games are played (according to weather) averaging over 14 players per game. With six members to a team we can play two teams at once.

The style of Croquet played is Golf Croquet, with some modifications we call 'Carrington Rules'. After the game, members enjoy a cup of tea and a chat in congenial company. Members enjoy their own club house and often have BBQ's and other social activities in the club house.

The club also runs social events throughout the year.

The Carrington Bowling Club meets on Thursdays and Saturdays (weather permitting). Twighlight games are played in summer.  Players gather in the bar area for refreshments after the game.  Experienced players are available to provide lessons to newcomers. The club hosts several social events throughout the year.
