Our Annual Fair

Carrington Fair

Carrington Fair is the biggest event of its kind in the Macarthur Region.

 

 

 

Residents and staff of the Village contribute their time and expertise to organise and run this event every year on the second Saturday in August, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm on the Carrington grounds at 90 Werombi Road Grasmere.

Residents form part of the Fair Committee, run individual stalls, volunteer for tasks on the day or work all year collecting items for sale (white elephant, second-hand clothes, books etc). An enthusiastic team co-ordinates the event, with local volunteer clubs contributing generously on the day, Lions, Rotary, Apex, Inner Wheel, Lioness Clubs, Pink Ladies and other groups all participate in some way to make this event the great success it is.

The event is very well attended by our Community with an estimated 3,500 people taking advantage of the day and all of the stalls and activities available. The Fair has around 85 external stalls and displays providing a wide range of products and services.
