Home and Community Care (HACC)

 

HACC programs are funded to provide services to people with disabilities, the aged and their carers. The services Carrington is funded to provide are:

 

Domestic Assistance Service

Assistance with essential cleaning of the home, mopping & vacuuming of floors, dusting, changing bed linen, laundry. Assistance can also be provided with meal preparation, shopping and bill payment.

 

Personal Care Service

Assistance with personal care needs, which can include dressing/undressing, showering, continence aids, applying prosthesis & sensory aids, and monitoring self medication.

 

Referrals

Referrals are accepted from other service providers, organisations and GP's. Self referrrals are also accepted. All referrals are assessed on an individual basis and every effort is made to provide appropriate service to eligible clients.
