Recreation Centre

Our Recreation Centre is a large well equiped building which accommodates much of Carrrington's social and recreational activities.  It boasts a large Function Hall which seats up to 200 people seated at tables and 300 in theatre style seating.  It is fully airconditioned and equipped with a modern sound and lighting system.It is used by our Retirement Village residents for major functions such as the Christmas concert or for individual family functions such birthdays and anniversaries.

One half of the Centre is the home of our Indoor Heated Swimming Pool and Spa. This provides our residents with the opportunity to excercise or just to enjoy a relaxing swim all year round. Aqua aerobic classes are conducted weekly, and exercise equipment is also available.

The Centre also offers a Coffee Shop and Bar providing morning tea and lunches and residents are encouraged to bring along their family and friends to also enjoy this amenity.

The Coffee Shop and Bar overlooks an outdoor Bowling Green which is made from artificial lawn and is very popular with residents.

Beneath the Recreation Centre are Workshops for both the serious woodturner and the hobbyist. Pottery wheels are also available for those residents who are interested.
