Raad Richards

Responsibilities

Raad has had extensive experience in health and aged care services in New South Wales over the past 33 years. Prior to joining Carrington in February 2004, Raad occupied a number of senior executive positions in the acute care sector, including the Director of Operations, South Western Sydney Area Health Services, General Manager of Teaching and Metropolitan Hospitals including Liverpool Hospital, Bankstown-Lidcome Hospital, Fairfield Hospital and Camden Hospital.

Raad holds formal qualifications in Business Administration (BBus), Industrial Relations and Human Resources (Graduate Diploma), and Master of Health Planning (MHP). Raad has extensive involvement in various professional and community organisations, including Past President of the NSW Branch of the Australian College of Health Service Executives (ACHSE), Current Council Member of the NSW Branch of ACHSE, Creating Links Community Services Co-operative, Board Member and Treasurer of the Brian Injury Assocation of NSW, Board Member of Aged and Community Services (NSW).

 

Sue Adamczuk

Director Residential Care

Responsibilities

Susan joined Carrington Centennial Care in April 2010. Having worked in the aged care industry for a period of 17 years she brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role. Her key responsibility is to provide sound clinical leadership to the organisation and ensure that Carrington Centennial Care is an industry leader for excellence in residential care. She is a Registered Nurse who holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) with the University of Western Sydney . Between 1992 and 1995 Susan completed a Master of Public Health, with her research major relating to falls prevention in the older person.

Susan coauthored the Master of Aged Care Management in 2002 (now known as the Master of Health Science (Aged Care Management)) whilst a Nurse Academic from 1998 - 2004 at the University of Western Sydney . Susan holds a strong interest in Clinical leadership, Quality care systems, Palliation and Dementia Care.

Tristan Betts

Executive Manager Human Resources

Responsibilities

Tristan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and History), UNSW, Diploma of Education (Secondary), Sydney University, and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.

Tristan has worked in a number of roles in the areas of Human Resources and Industrial Relations with twelve years experience in both public and private sector industries including transport and logistics as well as banking and finance.

Glenn Thorpe

Executive Manager Operations

Responsibilities

Glenn has over 35 yeras experience in Public Health Finance and Administration. He has held administrative positions in public hospitals and at Queen Victoria Memorial Home, Picton.

Glenn has an Accounting Certificate and an Associate Diploma in Health Administration.

Carol Gibson

Executive Manager
Finance and IT
Appointed: 21.1.09

Responsbilities

Carol holds a Commerce Degree (BComm), is CPA qualified and an appointed Justice of the Peace.

Her background is in non-profit, healthcare and the hospitality industry where Carol has held senior finance positions for the Benevolent Society, Continuum Healthcare Group, international hotel group - Park Royal Hotels and national catering company Gema Catering and Events.

Brenda Mullins-Jackson

Executive Manager Community Care

Responsibilities

Brenda is an Enrolled Nurse Aide and holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Sciences (Community Services).

Brenda has experience in the management of Community Aged Care Packages (CACP), Home and Community Care Programs (HACC), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Home Care Services and has co-ordinated respite services for carers of the frail aged and disabled with the Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre, South West Sydney
