  • Official Opening of Grasmere Terrace Aged Care Facility

    29 April, 2009

Carrington Centennial Care celebrated the official opening of its newest state of the art aged care facility, Grasmere Terrace, on Monday 20 April 2009

Grasmere Terrace is a 100 bed facility comprising 70 Low Care Suites and 30 High Care Suites built in a modern environment with quality inclusions and facilities to meet the demand of residents.

Grasmere Terrace is the realisation of a vision developed a few years ago when Carrington commenced the journey of growth and expansion of services to the aged.  This was a very positive decision by the Board and has set the scene for Carrington to map out a new determination in pursuit of excellence in the delivery of Aged Care Services in Macarthur and Sydney South West.

The new facility was officially opened by Her Excellency, the Governor of New South Wales, Professor Marie bashire, before a huge gathering which included members of State and Federal Parliaments, Councillors from both Camden and Wollondilly Councils and members of the local community.
