NEW HOSTEL BEDS NOW AVAILABLE
Carrington is proud to announce the opening of a New Aged Care Facility offering 70 additional beds for the Macarthur area.
The new facility, "Grasmere Terrace", designed by Jackson Teece architects and built by Grindley Constructions is a beautifully designed modern building with rooms which have sweeping views of Carrington's unique rural setting.
The service provides 24 hour care and a variety of support services such as physiotherapy, diversional therapy, pastoral care and podiatry. The new building has lounge and activities rooms, internet cafe, a chapel, library, hairdressing salon and shop. All meals are served in the comfort of a high class dining room.
Carrington is now taking bookings for the Hostel accommodation and further information can be obtained by contacting Kylie on (02) 4659 0367.

Carrington Wins 1st Place in Camden Council "Community Garden" Section

Carrinton has gained 1st place in the "Community Garden" section of the Camden Council Annual Garden Competition.
Joe Galea, our head gardener, also received the "Judges Award" for his foresight, environmental awareness and overall knowledge of plants, etc.
This is a great recognition, not only for Joe, but also for his gardening staff which includes:-
- Steve Waldock
- David Humphries
- Ben DeHon
The mowing team also deserve a pat on the back for keeping the grounds in top shape, they include: Chris Cox, John Dockerty, Derek Poole, Steve Waldock and Chris Cornock.
