2008 ACSA Award for Excellence
The CEO of Carrington Centennial Care is pleased to advise that Carrington was awrded the 2008 Aged and Community Services Association Award for Excellence in the category "Organisation - Residential Care" at the recent ACSA National Conference held in Adelaide.
Carrington was a finalist with three other organisations in this category, recognising our holistic approach to care by providing different levels of service to residents. The award also recognises Carrington's Concept of Pastoral Care provided to our residents to suit individual needs and provide emotional and spiritual support as part of the holistic approach to care.
The awards for excellence cover eight categories and have been made by ACSA since 1990. The awards are the industry recognition of dedication and innovation in providing services to older Australians and young Australians with a disability.
The CEO congratulated staff on achieving this important industry recognition and congratulated the Pastoral Care Team on being pivotal in the provision of care to residents.

Carrington is a centre of excellence for the aged and disabled, and has been providing care to the community from its semi-rural setting since 1889.
Carrington Centennial Care Winners in two categories at the 2008 Western Sydney Industry Awards
At the 2008 Western Sydney Industry Awards function held on Friday, 23 May 2008 Carrington scooped two major awards in recognition of its outstanding service.
Carrington was successful in the category of "Excellence in Business Practice - Customer Service (Large Business)" and also successful in the category of "Regional Excellence - Outstanding Service (Large Business)".
Carrington was also named one of eight finalists in the prestigious Judges' Choice Award.
The Western Sydney Industry Awards Program has been established for ten years.The program has been successful in encouraging, promoting and boosting the performance of hundreds of regional businesses.
The prestigious recognition received by Carrington is the culmination of the hard and smart work of the staff over the past few years.
The strong vision and leadership of the Management Team over the past few years has provided Carrington with a strong base in achieving best practice in aged care delivery and outstanding and best customer service.
